Welcome to fourth grade. I want to emphasize how important your involvement is in your child's education. Take advantage of the resources within this Website, and feel free to contact me with any questions. As you stay involved, behavior concerns will be nil and your child, his/her classmates, and I can focus on our purpose - education. An easy way to make sure your child knows you are interested is to check the items which your child is responsible for:
- Planner \ Assignment book (should be initialed daily and your child should get this signed every weekend)
- Weekly papers (sent home on Fridays)
- Reading log (students are required to read around 120 minutes a week)

In fourth grade we try to instill a sense of responsibility in the students. We do this by holding the students accountable for their actions or lack there of. Students will suffer the consequences of their irresponsible actions, and by the same token will be rewarded for their positive behaviors. I thank you ahead of time for encouraging responsibility and other positive behaviors in your child. Your active role in your child's education will be evident through the student's efforts.
