SCIENCE FAIR NEWS!
Dear Parents,
This year we would like the
fourth grade to participate in creating
a science fair project for
possible inclusion in the Mastadon
Science
and Art Fair
in March.
I know it may seem early, but designing
and researching a good project takes some time.
The students
may work in pairs
or on their own, and they will be given
quite a bit of
time in school to complete the project.
The students will need a Science Fair
display board.
They are inexpensive and can be purchased at Wal-Mart, an office supply
store, or a craft store.
We will begin
working on the projects in the next couple of weeks, and we will have them
completed by February.
The students will be able to work on these projects in class, and,
depending on the experiment your child chooses, he/she may be able to
complete the project entirely at school with teacher guidance.
More information will follow as
deadlines approach.

annual Dinner with Santa, and we could really use your help!
This year the fourth grade will be hosting the 2-liter ring toss in
room 11. We are asking for
donations of full
and unopened 2-liter bottles of soda, juice, punch, etc., and
we could even use donations of other sizes of bottles like 20 oz. of water
or soda. We will accept
donations from now until the date of the dinner. Thank you so much for helping make the dinner a
success! Mr. Weber |
